TROOPS OF SF HQ KILINOCHCHI JOIN BLESSING INVOKING BHODI POOJA
As per the direction of the Commander of the Army and the guidance of Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc, Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Troops participated for the blessing invoking Bhodi Pooja on 25 January 2017 at the Headquarters premises with the concept of invoking triple Gems bless upon the soldiers and wishing the strength to protect the motherland. \r\n\r\nBhodi Pooja was conducted by Ven Rathmalane Palitha Thero, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Dharmarama Raja Maha Viharaya, Thagaswewa, Kanthale. As per the concept of the Thero, Pirith Threads was knotted on the hands of every soldier\'s. The war heroes who sacrificed their lives and disabled during the war were also remembered and offered merits at the end of the Bodhi Pooja.\r\n\r\nMajor General Ajith Kariyakarawana USP ndc, Commander, Secuirty Forces - Kilinochchi together with Senior Staff Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were attended for this religious ceremony.\r\n
