A Road March was conducted by troops of Kilinochchi to mark the 10th anniversary celebration of victory over ruthless terrorism and to pay tribute to those who sacrificed their lives to defend the territorial integrity of the country on 22 May 19 in Kilinochchi. All formations under Security Force Kilinochchi and Battalions represented platoon strength with their flags at the march and it started from the Karadippokku junction and marched up to the Killinochchi Monument.
This event was organized under the guidance of the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and All Divisional Commanders, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and Officers attended the march along with the troops. Further, huge crowd rushed and took positions along the road to witness the march.
