TROOPS IN KILINOCHCHI CONDUCTED A SHARAMADANA CAMPAIGN

With the directions of Comd Security Force Kilinochchi Maj Gen Ajith Kariyakarawana, the 3rd Battalion of Gajaba Regiment of 574 Brigade launched a sharamadana campaign to revamp either side of A9 and A34 roads at Mankulam on 17 March 2018 under the supervision of Commander 574 Brigade, Colonel Chandana Somaweera.

3rd Battalion of Gajaba Regiment initiated the cleaning campaign at Mankulam Town and surrounding areas as a preventive measure to curtail spreading of dengue and to make Mankulam a pristine environment.

Officials from Pudukudiyirippu Pradeshiya Saba, civilians and school children of the area too associate.

This event enhanced the communal harmony and Civil Military Corporation while all residents appreciated the contribution made by Military.
