With the intention of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, General Officer Commanding - 65 Division, Major General K A W Kumarapperuma USP and his troops had a meeting with inland fishery committee people who are in Koddeikaddiyarkulam, Akkarayankulam, Anavilandankulam and Ambalaperumalkulam area on 16 June 2019. During the discussion people highlighted the issues they are facing due to leasing of irrigation tanks which belong to agriculture department to the out siders. Further, people request fishery equipment for their fishing activities and requested approval to do their fishing in sea during off season. Finally, they requested breeding fish for the tanks in the area.
