TROOPS BID FAREWELL TO OUTGOING COMMANDER OF SECURITY FORCES - KILINOCHCHI
A Guard Turn Out and a Guard of Honour accorded to the outgoing Commander Security Force Kilinochchi Major General K A D A Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, in accordance with military traditions to mark the relinquishment of his appointment as Commander, Security Force Kilinochchi held at the Security Forces Headquarters premises on 14 January 2017. \r\n\r\nTroop of 7th Battalion Sri Lanka Light Infantry presented the Guard of Honour and all Senior Army Officers including General Officers Commanding of 57,65 and 66 Divisions, Commander, Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchci, Brigade Commanders and several other officers with Commanding Officers and other ranks attended the occasion. \r\nDuring the ceremony Security Force Kilinochchi flag was handed over to the incoming Commander, Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndu by Major General K A D A Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, as a symbolic act in change of command practice in Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\n\r\n
