A Guard Turn Out and a Guard of Honour to the outgoing General Officer Commanding Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG in accordance with military traditions to mark the relinquishment of his appointment as General Officer Commanding of 57 Division was held at the Division Headquarters premises on 28 March 2019.
A ceremonial Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour, presented by troops of 3rd Battalion Gajaba Regiment serving under 57 Division greeted the outgoing General Officer Commanding on arrival at the premises in keeping with military traditions.
The outgoing General Officer Commanding attended for the All Rank tea party at Utility Building after the Guard of Honour. All Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, senior officers, officers and other ranks attended to the event.
Following the relinquishing of the duties as General Officer Commanding of 57 Division Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG will assume the duties as the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi on 29 March 2019.
