TROOPS AVERT MAJOR WATER LEAKAGE IN TANK BUND

Troops of 7 SLNG belong to 652 Brigade under command to the 65 Division of the Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi attended to a major water leakage that cropped up suddenly on the Maradamkulam tank bund on 30 November 2019 due to heavy rain with increasing water levels in the tank.

This urgent measure was launched on the directions of the Commander, Security Forces-Kilinochchi, Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and the General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, Major General KAW Kumarapperuma USP and close supervision of Colonel WLAC Perera RWP RSP USP. 03 x 50 troops of 7 SLNG contributed their assistance to renovate the tank bund.
