As an efflorescence of a concept of the Commander Security Force – Kilinochchi Major General Harendra Ranasinghe, newly constructed house was declared opened and bestowed on 13 July 2021 to Mrs. Sivasami Muththu, Periyakulam, Waddakachchi, Kilinochchi in a view of facilitating the needy families to uplift their living standard and enhancing the government reconciliation process.
The Commander Security Forces –Kilinochchi participated as the chief guest for the bestowing ceremony. Moreover, Financial assistance for the home along with household equipment’s, dry ration pack and fresh vegetables extended by 6 Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment whilst man power assistance for the construction work provided by the troops of 6 SLSR under the guidance of 57 Division Commander Major General Priyantha Jayawardana and Commander 572 Infantry Brigade Brigadier Nishantha Muthumala.. Further. Commander appreciated the troops, who are contributed to construction of this house.
General Officer Commanding 57 Infantry Division Major General Priyantha Jayawardana, senior officers at Security Force Headquarters- Kilinochchi ,also participated the event with adhering all Covid 19 preventive measures.
