On the instructions of the Commander Security Forces- Kilinochchi, Major General Ralf Nugera, the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Major General Vijitha Ravipriya in coordination with the 571 Brigade Commander, launched a ‘Special Refresher Course on Search and Rescue Operations in disaster situations’ for the troops under 57 Division during November 12- 21 at Thondaman Nagar Camp and the Iranamadu Reservoir in Kilinochchi.
8 officers and 54 other rankers were participated for this course.Navy, Air Force, Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers, Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps and Special Forces facilitated by providing instructors.
