Troops of 14 Sri Lanka National Guard distributed dry ration packs among 55 selected low income families at Mailawanapuram area, in Kilinochchi district on 22 April 2020. Mr SM De Silva from Thalawathugoda sponsored all the distributed items.
This programme was launched as a concession service during the preventive efforts of Covid-19 pandemics spread, under the guidance of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc and with the close supervision of General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Major General BPS De Silva RSP and Commander 572 brigade Brigadier DMPP Dasanayaka.
