Training is considered to the best welfare for the troops under command. Security Force Kilinochchi under the guidance and supervision of Security Force Commander Major General Udaya Perera took the initiative of introducing a training module for the Senior Non Commissioned Officers. The first workshop for the Senior Non Commissioned Officers’ was launched on 17 July 2013 and 58 Senior Non Commissioned Officers were participated for the training majority being the Regimental Sergeant Majors representing Battalions and formations under command to Security Force Kilinochchi. Invitations were sent to Sri Lanka Navy, Air Force and Police. It is heartening to note the participation from Sri Lanka Navy and Sri Lanka Police. The aim and objectives of the training sessions was to broaden the knowledge on social, professional and general knowledge leading to inculcate professionalism and leadership qualities.
