T 20 CRICKET MATCH PLAYED AT THE MANKULAM COLLEGE PLAYGROUND
The T20 cricket match between Sri Lanka Northern Province under 15 Combined Team vs Australian Hellenic Federation Combined Cricket Team was held on 2 July 2015. The match was organized by the Foundation of Goodness and played at the Mankulam College playground.\r\n\r\nCommander Security Force (KLN) Major General Sudantha Ranasingha RWP RSP graced the occasion as the chief guest. General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Commander 571 Brigade and officials of Foundation of Goodness were also present at the event. A large number of school children gathered at the playground to witness cricket match. \r\n \r\nDuring the match 14 local players were gifted brand new push bicycles by Hellenic Federation Combined Cricket Team and two teams exchanged the gift items displaying the spirit of the game.It was a historic moment for the young cricketers in the Northern Province.\r\n\r\n574 Brigade along with 3rd Battalion the Gajaba Regiment organized this colourful event with the assistance of Foundation of Goodness.\r\n
