Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, presided a security coordinating conference with the heads of all Government, Semi Government and Private Sector Institutes situated in Killinochchi District in order to explain prevailing security situation and the security arrangements made by the security forces to mitigate extremist activities thus help bringing the normalcy on 09 May 2019 at the conference hall of Security Forces Headquarters Killinochchi.
It was learnt that said meeting was a great opportunity for all participants to express their views related to personal and institutional safety and security. There were 39 Officials participated and they highlighted difficulties faced by their workers and customers due to present situation. Commander further explained about the effort made by the Security Forces to enhance security in the area and all participants agreed to extend their fullest support to the security forces.
General Officer Commanding 57 Division Brigadier AS Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc and Few other senior officers of Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi also participated in the conference.
