According to a concept of Commander Security Force (Kilinochchi), conducting several programmes for the civilians to uplift the joint venture with them on behalf of upcoming Vesak festival. Along with this 66 Infantry Division has conducted a spectacle donation programme for the civilians at the Pooneryn Sri Vigneshwaran Vidyalaya Premises on 14 and 15 May 2016.\r\n\r\n\"Vishwaparamee Foundation - Colombo\" has sponsored for this 650 spectacle donation and Dr. Nimal Karunasiri along with a medical team arrived to examine the civilians. In that, 350 spectacles have donated to the civilians in 66 Division area of responsibility on 14 May 2016 and rest of the 300 spectacles donated to the civilians in 57 and 65 Divisions.\r\n\r\nGeneral Officer Commanding 66 Infantry Division Brigadier GWDK Jayatilaka USP has graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
