SHRAMADANA CAMPAIGN CONDUCT BY 66 DIVISION TO MARKS THE 69TH ANNIVERSARY OF SRI LANKA ARMY

Under the direction of General Officer Commanding of 66 Division Brigadier Deepthi Jayathilake shramadana campaigns were organized by the under command Brigades of the 66 Division. 24th Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment and 5 (V) Mechanized Infantry Regiment of the 661 Brigade respectively cleaned the Government Tamil School, preschool in Arasapurakulam, Sunnaweli Vidiyalaya at Pallikuda, premises on 06 Oct 18 and Semmangoddu Vidiyalaya, Thelik are pre school Semmanguddu Catholic Church premises on 02 Oct 18.

20th Sri Lanka Light Infantry Battalion, 1st Gajaba Regiment and 662 Brigade separately cleaned Irrigation canal in Sinnapallawarankaddu, Elderly Care Home in Kumarapuram and the Ayurveda Hospital at Kumarapuram 06 Oct 18. 15 Sri Lanka Artillery and 2 (V) Sri Lanka National Guard of the 663 Brigade respectively cleaned Hospital 02 Oct 18,School in Veravil on 06 Oct 18 and Elderly Care Home in Vannarikulam premises 05 Oct 18. Further, 2 (V) Sri Lanka National Guard Battalion troops provided meals to the elderly home.
