"SHOPPING FESTIVAL 2019" organized for the first time in history at Kilinochchi Army welfare shop premises by 573 Brigade headquarters according to the vision of Commander Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG and it was organized with the intension of Improving Good will among the business Community， raising funds for welfare of soldiers and connecting civilians of Kilinochchi District with Army welfare shop. ARMY WELFAIRE SHOP Iranamadu premises was filled with thousands of civilians on 23 June 2019 which proved a great success.
General Officer Commanding of 57 Division Brigadier AS Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG graced the occasion as Chief Guest on behalf of the Commander Security Force Kilinochchi and was received on arrival by Commander 573 Brigade.
Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi initiated this shopping festival which consisted of beauty culture workshop and a musical evening towards the end of series if programs.
many companies of private sector supported the event on the day. A large crowd of ladies and gents, with music fans joined the event that lasted for several hours. A host of senior Army Officers attended the event.
