Troops of Security Forces Kilinochchi assisted the senior citizens of the Kilinochchi District to collect their pension payments by taking them to banks on board Army buses on 02 and 03 April 2020.
The gesture, a novel project of the Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva was meant to help those aged pensioners who have turned helpless due to imposition of curfew hours in respective residential areas.
This programme was launched under the close supervision of the Commander, Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General HMJK Gunaratne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc.
