Deepavali festival which falls on 22 Oct 2014 was celebrated at Kandasami Hindu Kovil with the presence of Tamil devotees and troops together with Comd SF (KLN).
The national festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness focusing mainly on sun to symbolize the prosperity of Hindu and Tamil devotees. Comd SF (KLN), GOC 57 Div, BAQ, Officers other ranks a large crowd of Tamil devotees attended for this occasion.
