SEWING MACHINES, FISH NETS AND STEAMERS DISTRIBUTION AMONG POOR FAMILIES
According to the concept of the Commander Security Force – Kilinochchi sewing machines, fishnets and steamers to prepare string hoppers were distributed among economically deprived families in Kilinochchi under the direction of 58 Div on 10 June 2014 at Harmony Center, Kilinochchi. The intention of this charity is to uplift their living standards through enhancing their self– employments. In this great occasion the sewing machines were given away to 40 families, fishnets and steamers were distributed among 22 families.
The financial contribution for this equipment was offered by Rev.Fr. Shantha Abesinghe , the director of “ Shantha Praja Sajeevikarana Padanama†in Dehiwala. Rev.Fr. Shantha Abesinghe and Mrs. Sujeewa Rathnayake the assistant director participated for this occasion.
The Commander SF (KLN) was the chief guest of this occasion and the Divisional Commanders of 58, 65 and 57 participated for this charitable event.
