Deepavali festival, which falls on 10 November 2015 was celebrated at Thirumurukandy Pillaiyar Hindu Kovil with the presence of Tamil devotees and Army personnel in Kilinochchi area.\r\n\r\n The national festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, focusing mainly on sun to symbolize the prosperity of Hindu and Tamil devotees. Commander - Forward Maintenance Area(KLN) with General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Senior Officers, Other Ranks and a large crowd of Tamil devotees attended for this occasion.\r\n
