SECURITY FORCES - KILINOCHCHI CELEBRATED 2ND ANNIVERSARY OF EXCELLENCY PRESIDENT OF OFFICIATING DUTIES
In coincident with the Second anniversary of His Excellency President Maithreepala Sirisena in office, under the direction of Commander of Army, Lieutenant General A W J C De Silva RWP VSV USP ndu psc and with the guidance of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi Major General K A D A Karunasekara RWP RSP VSV USP ndu psc, a tree planting programme was conducted in Security Forces Kilinochchi Area.\r\n\r\nAs symbolizing of initiation, tree planting prorgramme was commenced at Security Forces Headquarters premises on 04 January 2017. Under this programme 2100 saplings were distributed among under command formation headquarters and battalions of Security Forces Kilinochchi area.\r\n\r\nThe subjected programme was presided by Brigadier R M P J Rathnayake RWP RSP USP, Brigadier General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi, Colonel S W M Fernando WWV RWP RSP USP psc, Colonel General Staff - Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi, Colonel I P Kandanaarachchi, Colonel Admin and Quartering - Security Forces Headquarters Kilinochchi and Senior Officers, Officers and Other Ranks were participated to the programme. \r\n
