SECURITY FORCE KILINOCHCHI ORGANIZED AN AWARENESS PROGRAMME REGARDING DRUG PREVENTION
His Excellency the president has announced International Month against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking in Sri Lanka from 09 Jul to 08 Aug 2015, under the theme of \"LET\'S DEVELOP OUR LIVES, OUR COMMUNITIES, OUR IDENTITIES, WITHOUT DRUGS\". With the guidance of Comd SF (KLN), organized an awareness programme on 23 July, 2015 regarding drug prevention at Nelumpiyasa Auditorium, Kilinochchi. \r\n\r\nApproximately 30 Offrs and 280 ORs from SF (KLN) were participated for the programme. Participants were made aware regarding the strategies of alcohol and tobacco industries which target areas. The programme was concluded successfully and Offrs and ORs were educated to carry out future drug prevention activities.\r\n\r\nMr. Sampath De Seram - Director, Human Development and Administration and Mr. Indika Rajapaksha - Senior Programme Officer of Alcohol and Drug Information Centre, Colombo 03 Conducted the programme to the participants\r\n
