SECURITY FORCE KILINOCHCHI LAUNCHED A WELFARE PROJECT TO PROMOTE THE PALMYRA INDUSTRY IN KILINOCHCHI AREA

Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi, Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, had a Cordial meeting with producers of Palmyra products who are in Kilinochchi area on 13 August 2019 as a part of a welfare project to improve the livelihood of the people.

Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi addressed to 45 local entrepreneurs gathered at the conference hall of SFHQ (KLN). During the meeting the Commander SF (KLN) explained the plan designed by the SFHQ (KLN) to promote the Palmyra products, whilst improving the quality of the products by using new techniques and increase the demand for the Palmyra products in the local market.

Further, the entrepreneurs exchanged couple of views with the Commander SF (KLN) and appreciated for actions taken by SFHQ (KLN) to resolve their matters related to day today lives. General Officer Commanding 66 Division, Senior Offices, Officers and Other Ranks attended the event.
