SECURITY FORCE COMMANDER VISITS KOKAVIL MULTI TRANSMISSION TOWER FACILITY
Security Force Commander Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP MSc ndu psc visited Kokavil multi transmission tower owned by Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (TRC), television and radio rebroadcasting stations. Sri Lanka Rupavahini, ITN, SLBC and TRC staff briefed him about the function of the tower and future expansions. He also visited the Sri Lanka Army microwave & data network hub at Kokavil and radio, telecommunication & IT workshop facilities and ongoing IT training programme for army clerks. He inspected the security arrangement at the complex too where General Officer Commanding 57 Division Brigadier HJ Senevirathna RWP RSP was also present.
