The Security Force Commander Kilinochchi Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc addressed 947 beneficiaries on 20 March 2014 living in Kilinochchi area who have been already reintegrated to the society. All the beneficiaries were delighted to meet Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe who pioneered the rehabilitation programme as the Commissioner General before. He explained that out of approximately 12000 beneficiaries only one or two have involved in anti government activities so far which is note worthy and encouraging. He also advised the gathering that, there are extremist elements in the Diaspora attempting to destabilize the peaceful environment prevailing in the country for their own advantage and existence specially financial benefits who will exploit the beneficiary community in order to attain their ulterior motives. He further said that having gone through a highly difficult period during the past, now they live a peaceful life most importantly they are on their own, no one tracks them. Therefore, they should be careful not to fall into the hands and tricks of those extremist elements who were never with them even in the past, at present or for sure not in the future.
