A coordinating conference was held to coordinate security arrangements for Christian Churches, Mosques and schools in the Area of responsibility of Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi at the conference hall of SFHQ KLN on 03 May 2019.
Officers of Naval detachment at Nachchikuda & Air Force base Iranamadhu, Police Officers, Officers of CSD, Christian priests, Additional Government Agent, Officials of Zonal Directorate, Kilinochchi participated in this conference, Major General GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG, the Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi presided the conference.
Discussion was mainly focused on the security arrangements to be made prior to re-opening of schools in the AOR and operations such as cordon and search, snap road blocks, permanent road blocks etc... to be carried out in the AOR in order to maintain the low & order. Further, plans were made to carry out such operations in collaboration with other sister servicers, Police & CSD.
