Secretary the Ministry of Defence, Mr. B M U D Basnayake visited Security Force Headquarters (Kilinochchi) on 19 Jul 15.\r\n\r\n Comd, SF (KLN) warmly welcomed the Secretary, Ministry of Defence at the Iranamadu helipad, Honour Guard and Drive past were awarded to Secretary with military traditions. Comd of the Army were accompanied with Secretary.\r\n\r\n Comd SF (KLN) conducted a comprehensive briefing related to current situation and the CIMIC activities carried out by SF (KLN) and under Command Divisions. \r\n\r\n Later Mr B M U D Basnayake, Secretary Ministry of Defence and Mrs Wasantha Perera, Additional Secretary Parliament and civil affairs planted trees in front of SF HQ (KLN) office complex in memory of their visit and Comd SF (KLN) awarded a symbolic memento to Secretary as a token of memory of his visit to the SF HQ (KLN). Comd of the Army, 57 and 65 Div GOCs and Snr Officers were presented at the occasion. \r\n
