SECOND SELF DEVELOPMENT TRAINING CAPSULE FOR CUSTOM OFFICERS COMMENCED AT WISDOM AMPAKAMAM
The second Self Development Training Capsule for custom officers commenced at ‘Wisdom’ Training School Ampakam on 13 January 2014. Training audience consist of 48 custom officers including 3 Superintendants of custom, 4 Deputy Superintendants of custom and 41 Assistant Superintendants of custom. The course curriculum covers an array of subjects including national security, leadership, decision making in crisis situations, out bound training, foot drill, self defence including unarmed combat, fine dining, physical endurance training etc etc. There will be a Pantomime performed by the students on the last day. Lot of enthusiasm was seen among the students as Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc the Security Force Commander Kilinochchi conducted the opening address today. Training to be concluded on 19 January 2014. Objective of this training is to develop self confidence & competencies of custom officers while enhancing interaction between Sri Lanka Customs and Sri Lanka Army as two responsible national entities.
