RETIRED KILINOCHCHI WARRANT OFFICER HONOURED WITH MILITARY FUNERAL
As per the direction given by the Comd of the Army and the direct supervision of Comd SF (KLN), Military Funeral No 3 honoured for under mention retired SLAOC WO I on 06 Nov 2014 at Konavil cemetery in 652 Bde AOR.
WO I (Retd) Kasipille Yoganadan
WO 1 (Retd) K Yoganadan who was father of four children (3 sons and 1 daughter) had been living in Kilinochchi even during the height of operation against LTTE terrorist despite risks for his own life.
The deceased who had performed a commendable service during his stay in the Army retired in 1979 and was living in Kilinochchi although his son in Kilinochchi has been serving the Civil Defence Force up until today.
Member of his family have consented for a military funeral considering his dedicated service to the country in the midst of LTTE terrorism.
20 Offrs and nearly 400 ORs were attend for the funeral and the entire funeral arrangement were coordinated by SF HQ (KLN) and 65 Div.
