RELEASING OF FINGERLINGS TO AKKARAYANKULAM TANK

Under the guidance of Major General KAW Kumarapperuma USP, General Officer Commanding, 65 Division, troops of 7SLNG launched a programme to release fingerlings to Akkarayankulam Tank on 28 June 2019.

The program was organized by the 7SLNG troops under the supervision of the Commander 652 Brigade, Colonel G P Kodithuwakku RWP RSP in collaboration with National Aquaculture Development Authority (NAQDA) on the request made by the fishermen.

Commander 652 Brigade, Senior Officers, Officers, Other Ranks and a group of fishermen were present at the location.
