First round of the interviews was held from 20 June 2014 to 16 June 2014 at Harmony Centre Kilinochchi to recruit Tamil boys in Kilinochchi who are unemployed and willing to serve their motherland.
After recruiting they will be directed to various professions to perform their duties such as drivers, clerks, assistant bakers, store keepers, assistant chefs, welders, electricians, masons and carpenters as well as different sections such as agricultural matters, cultural affairs and general service according to their educational qualifications and vocational training.
Recruiting Tamil youth in Kilinochchi has been executing since last year, at the first stage 100 Tamil girls were recruited to the Sri Lanka Army and it is intended to recruit 500 Tamil boys this time under the guidance of Commander Security Force kilinochchi.
