PRO. SUDARSHANA SENEVIRATHNE’S VISIT TO KILINOCHCHI
Pro. Sudarshana Senevirathne senior lecturer on archaeology from University of Peradeniya and his wife made a visit to the area of Security Force Kiliochchi and visited Hasalaka Gamini’s statue at Alimankada, the water tank destroyed by LTTE, Harmony Centre, Victory Monument and Mass Holdings Vanawil Factory.
After visiting these significant places in Kilinochchi he paid a visit to the Commander of Security Force Kilinochchi and the Commander briefly explained about the development programmes executed in this area, the contribution by the army for these development profgrammes, resettlement projects and the progress of demining in this area.
