6 (v) SLAWC troops in collaboration with Sri Lanka Red Cross Soiety conducted a personal hygiene programme on 10 February 2014 in rural areas of Kilinochchi. They specially adviced the community on better hygynical practices in using toilets, proper maintenance of drainage/sewage systems and wells.They Inspected more than 60 houses in Bharthipuram area in Kilinochchi. The primary objective of the inspection was to prevent dengu fever which is increased day by day.
