OUT GOING COMMANDER SECURITY FORCES KILINOCHCHI WAS PRAISED WITH FORMAL CELEBRATIONS

Major General G V Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG has relinquished his present appointment of Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi after completing nearly 9 months of reckonable services to the Security Force Headquarters Kilinochchi on 23 Dec 19. Formal military ceremony was organized to appreciate his services rendered to this Headquarters during very short span of time as a Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi. According to the itinerary A Guard Turn Out followed by a Guard of Honour and it was presented by the 8th Sri Lanka Artillery Regiment.at 1000hrs on 23 Dec 19.

Thereafter, officially signed the handing over certificate to hand over the command to the successor of Major General H M J K Gunarathne WWV RWP RSP ndc psc Then Group Photograph and tree planting programme were held in front of the Headquarter Building. After the all ranks tea all Officers and Other Ranks were formally addressed at the auditorium by outgoing Commander Security Forces Kilinochchi.

Farewell dinner was held at the Officers Mess with the participation of Commander Forward Maintenance Area - Kilinochchi, General Officer Commanding 66 Divisions, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, senior officers, officers.
