OPENING CEREMONY AT CHURCH OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP

Under the guidance of Brigadier AS Hewawitharana RSP USP ndc IG the General Officer Commanding 57 Division, and under the supervision of Commander 571 Brigade, troops of 7 SLLI participated at a Shramadana campaign to clean newly built Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Sadasagaya Annei Church), Ambalnagar on 11 July 2019.

This church was ceremonially declared opened by Bishop of Jaffna area Rev Dr Justin Gnanaprakasam on 14 July 2019. With the invitation of Rev Father JA Jesudasan Maj Gen GV Ravipriya WWV RWP ndu IG the Commander SFHQ (KLN) participated at this ceremony. Also Commander 571 Brigade, GSO 1 COORD SFHQ (KLN), CO 7 SLLI and more than 2000 civilian devotees from the area attended the ceromony.
