NEWLY CONSTRUCTED BATTALION HEADQUARTER FOR 5 (V) GAJABA REGIMENT
Newly constructed Battalion Headquarter building of 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment was ceremonially opened by the Maj General A P De Z Wickramarathne RWP ndu psc, General Officer Commanding 66 Division on 18 September 2015. This building was constructed with the fullest dedication of all Bn members and Officiating Commanding Officer Maj DSP Liyanage was directed the team effectively in order to make the event success.\r\n\r\nIn accordance with military traditions, General Officer Commanding 66 Division reviewed the Guard Turnout was presented by the troops of the 5 (V) Gajaba Regiment and subsequently planted a tree in memory of his visit to the battalion.\r\n\r\nCommanders of 661, 662 and 663 Brigades, Commanding Officers, officers and other ranks of 66 Division attended the event\r\n
