Major General K A D A Karunasekara RSP VSV USP ndu psc assumed duties as the new Commander of SFHQ – KLN after a brief religious ceremony of all denominations on 18 October 2015.\r\n The taking over ceremony followed by a Guard Turnout and Guard of Honour, presented by 7th Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops serving in the Security Forces Kilinochchi after new Commander arrived at the premises.\r\n To signify the acceptance of the appointment, Major General K A D A Karunasekara signed a formal document amidst chanting of Seth Pirith. New Commander planted a tree sapling in the premises before joining to the officer’s address at auditorium.\r\n Major General K A D A Karunasekara is the ninth Commander of SFHQ – KLN. The large gathering including General Officer Commanding, Commander- FMA , Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers,Senior Officers and Officers, Other Ranks were also presented the ceremony. \r\n
