Naganadan Jayawadani, a disabled widow due to conflict temporarily resides at Araly West, Wadukkodai, Jaffna with her four children at a rented house at present. They do not have a shelter on their own. Having understood the need of the hour Honourable President of the Seva Vanitha Branch of Ministry of Defense and Urban Development, Mrs. Ayoma Rajapaksha initiated action to construct a house to this needed family. On her instructions Security Force Commander Kilinochchi Major General S Ranasinghe RWP RSP MSc ndu psc undertook the job and received the donation from the sponsors of the project philanthropists Mr. and Mrs. Upali Jayasingha and Sabitha Perera in Colombo. Having returned to Kilinochchi Security Force Commander along with senior officers of the Security Force Kilinochchi paid an inspection visit on 22 February 2014 to a land owned by Jawadani at Waddakchchi area in Kilinochchi to commence construction work where Jayawadani and one of her children were also present.
