NEW GOC ASSUMED THE COMMAND OF 57 INFANTRY DIVISION KILINOCHCHI
Brigadier H J S Gunawardena RSP USP ndc psc assumed the duties as 10th General Officer Commanding of 57 Infantry Division on 06 April 2017 with military traditions and amidst religious blessing at Headquarters of 57 Infantry Division.\r\n\r\nA guard turnout was accorded by 1st Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment to newly appointed General Officer Commanding as a formal welcome at Main entrance of the Divisional Headquarters. After assuming of the duties as General Officer Commanding addressed the troops and explained his vision. To mark this day a mango sapling was planted at the Divisional Admin area followed by a tea party arranged by the troops of 57 Infantry Division.
