NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 66 DIVISION ASUMMED DUTIES
Brigadier G W D K Jayatilaka USP, General Officer Commanding – 66 Division assumed duties as the new GOC - 66 Divisions of Security Forces- Kilinochchi with the simple ceremony on 25 January 2016.\r\n\r\n In accordance with military traditions, Brigadier G W D K Jayathilake USP reviewed the Guard Turnout and a Guard of Honour was presented by the troops of the 66 Division. Afterwards, a brief religious ceremony was conducted to invoke for the new General Officer Commanding and signed a formal document to signify the acceptance of the new office, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the occasion.\r\n
