NEW GENERAL OFFICER COMMANDING OF 57 DIVISION ASSUMED DUTIES
Brigadier WAVA Sudasinghe USP IG assumed duties as the new General Officer Commanding of 57 Division of the Security Forces Kilinochchi during a simple ceremony on 14 January 2016. \r\n\r\nIn accordance with military traditions, Brigadier WAVA Sudasinghe USP IG reviewed the Guard Turnout and attended tree planting at 57 Div Headquarters . A brief religious ceremony was conducted to invoked blessing for the new General Officer Commanding. \r\n\r\nCommanders of 571,572,573 and 574 Brigades, Commanding Officers, Officers and Other Ranks attended the ceremony.\r\n
