NEW ACCOMMODATION BILLETS HANDED OVER TO THE TRAINEES AT AMPAKAMAM TRAINING SCHOOL
As per the direction of Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndc and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 57 Division and Brigade Commander of 574 Brigade, two accommodation billets were handed over to the trainees at Ampakamam Training School by the Commander, Security Forces - Kilinochchi on 08 August 2017.\r\n\r\nThese 80m x 20m two billets were built by the workforce of Ampakamam Training School and 11th Engineers Services Regiment.\r\n\r\nMeanwhile certificate awarding ceremony for 10000 M (10 KM) marathon winners was held at training school premises on the same day. This 10000 M marathon was organized by under the direction of Major General H J S Gunawardena RSP USP ndc psc General Officer Commanding 57 Division. \r\n\r\nA total of 125 competitors from under command battalions of 57 Division took part in the marathon which started from the Mankulam Junction and terminated in Olumadu Junction.\r\n\r\nThe winners of the aforesaid marathon were awarded by Major General A Kariyakarawana USP ndc, Commander Security Forces – Kilinochchi.General Officer Commanding 57 Division, Brigade Commanders, Senior Officers and Other Ranks took part the event.\r\n
