NEW 571 BRIGADE COMMANDER BEGINS DUTIES

Colonel DKSK Dolage USP psc assumed duties as the 9th Commander of the 571 Brigade on 4th September 2019 during a simple ceremony at the 571 Brigade Headquarters in Kilinochchi.

A formal Guard Turnout at the entrance, presented by 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry troops greeted him. He left his signature in a formal document and symbolized the occasion.

Afterwards, the newly-appointed Brigade Commander planted a Mango sapling in the compound as a symbol of memory before he joined a customary troop address and all rank tea.

Commanding Officer of the 7 Sri Lanka Light Infantry & 9 Vijayabhau Infantry Regiment and Brigade Staff Officers attended the occasion.
