NEGOMBO ROTARY CLUB OFFERED BICYCLES FOR LOW-INCOME STUDENTS IN KILINOCHCHI
Negombo – Rotary Club headed by Mr: Freddy Cruise showed goodwill and generosity towards people live in Kilinochchi area by donating 80 push bicycles for the distribution amongst the low-income group students on 05 September 2017 at Nelumpiyasa Auditoriyam, Kilinochchi. \r\n\r\nAccording to the invitation made by Commander Security Forces, Major General Ajith Kariyakarawana, Negombo Rotary Club initiated the said charity programme. 65 selected low-income students from Mallavi, Vishwamadu, Poonayern and 15 students from Don Bosco College were donated bicycles and air pumps. \r\n\r\nCommander Security Forces Kiliinochchi graced the occasion as the chief guest. Mr. Freddy Cruise President of Negombo Rotary Club, Rev Father Pius George, principal of Don Bosco College, General Officer Commandings of under command Divisions, Commanding Officers, Parents, Students and Several Military and Civil Dignities took part at the ceremony.
