MULANKAVIL COMMUNITY ENJOY SINHALA AND HINDU NEW YEAR FESTIVAL
Under guidance of 651 Brigade, 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment organized a New Year Festival with coordination of Mulankavil Police Station and Trade Society of Mulankavil on 11 April 2015 at Mulankavil play ground, to celebration of Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival and to promoting religious reconciliation and peace among all communities .\r\n\r\nThe event included many varieties of New Year traditional games and fun making features. During the event organizing committee distributed meals pack for 100 villagers and presented prizes to the winners of Army/Civilians who were attended the day\'s event.\r\n\r\nA large gathering including, Second In Command 11 (V) Gajaba Regiment, Chief Clergy of Mulankavil Rev.Fr. Anandakumar, Civil Affairs Officer - 651 Brigade, Officer In Charge of Mulankavil Police Mr. M M J Ariyawansa, Dr. Selvam of Mulankavil Hospital, Chairman of Trade Society Mulankavil Mr. S Manoharan , GS Officers of Mulankavil and Kariyalanagapadduwan Mr. N Naguleshwaran, Mr. K Nagaligham, Army/Police troops and civilians were attended the event.\r\n
