MULANKAVIL COMMUNITY APPRECIATED \"VESAK DANSALA\"
On Vesak Day, Buddhists all over the world commemorate events of significance to Buddhists of all traditions; the birth, enlightenment and the passing away of Gautama Buddha. Celebrating Vesak Day 11th (V) Battalion Gajaba Regiment troops organized \"Vesak Rice Dansala\" at Mulankavil on 03, May 2015.\r\n Intention of this event is to enhance goodwill and mutual understanding among all communities. Approx 800 civilians witness the Vesak decoration and poor families came to Dansala to receive free meals and appreciated this event. This community programme was organized by under guidance of the Commander 651 Brigade. \r\n
