Troops of the 57 Division under the Security Force Headquarters – Kilinochchi staged a mega Indian musical extravaganza with the collaboration of Mohamad Rafi Foundation held at Kilinochchi Central College ground on 16 Mar 2019 evening.
Enthralling performances of famed Indian & Sri Lankan Artist with Army Orchestra, rhythmic dances of Army Dancing group thrilled the audience of civilians in the 57 Division organized musical evening with the guidance of Commander Security Force Kilinochchi, Major General Ralph Nugera and under the supervision of General Officer Commanding 57 Division Major General Vijitha Ravipriya with the aimed at strengthening the cordial relations between the Army and the civilians.
General Officer Commanding 57 Division, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest along with General Officer Commanding 65 Division, Major General Wasantha Kumarapperuma, Mrs. Amali Weerakkody, Directress of the Gyaansthalee Language Centre, Mrs. Waruni Nanayakkara, Tv/Radio Presenter, Hindi Teacher, Artist and Army Senior Officers. More than 4000 civilians participated for the event.
