MEDICAL PROGRAMME TO MARK WORLD CANCER DAY AND LEPROSY DAY
On the direction of Commander SF (KLN) ,medical awareness programme was organized on 02 February 2016 at Harmony Center Kilinochchi in line with world cancer day and leprosy day which falls on 30 January and 4 February 2016 respectively. \r\n\r\nThe programme consist with comprehensive lectures on oral cancer and breast cancer organized by Armour Coord and Director of Health Services in Kilinochchi.\r\n\r\nBrigadier WAVA Sudasinghe USP IG General officer commanding 57 Division grace the occasion as the chief Guest. The lectures were conducted by Dr. Nimal Claviton, Dr. K. Tharshanam and Dr. Shanika Fernando representing Regional Director of Health Services and Medical Officer of Health Kilinochch. Nearly 100 civilians and many military personnel were participated for the programme.\r\n
