KILINOCHCHI TROOPS WERE EDUCATED ON ‘HEALTHY ARMY - HEALTHY NATION’

Security Force Headquarters - Kilinochchi organized one more round of ‘Healthy Army - Healthy Nation’ awareness programme with the objective of educating Kilinochchi troops on Non-Communicable Diseases.

The programme was held at the Nelumpiyasa auditorium in close coordination with the 4 Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps on 29 August 2018. Lectures were conducted by the Medical Officer, Major Dr. Cytil Kulathunga RMO Dip in Counseling PG Dip in Health Development Higher Dip in English, Instructor HR& IHL. 100 officers and 1100 other ranks listened to the lecture.

Major General Niyshshanka Ranawana, Commander Security Forces – Kilinochchi took the initiative to conduct this awareness programme.
