KILINOCHCHI TROOPS TOOK PART IN ISLAND WIDE DENGUE PREVENTION CAMPAIGN
Troops serving in the 57 Division under Security Forces – Kilinochchi launched a Dengue Epidemic Prevention programmes in parallel with the ongoing Island wide National Dengue Prevention Campaign on 10 and 11 November 2017 covering Kilinochchi and Paranthan areas.\r\n\r\nA total of 50 troops from 1st Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment and 16th (V) Sri Lanka Light Infantry, together with Kilinochchi Police, several medical officers and Public Health Inspectors contributed to the awareness programme.\r\n\r\nDuring this programme houses, government institutes, private sectors, religious places, schools and other public places were inspected by the participants and made aware the people regarding dengue epidemic and its spreading ways to prevent to arise the said epidemic in Kilinochchi
